Secure print release
The most common print data breach is the simplest: a confidential document sitting in an output tray for anyone to pick up. Secure release holds every job until the right person authenticates at the device with a PIN, card or fob. It’s a core feature of our print management software, and it closes that gap.
Control who can do what
Not everyone needs to print, copy or scan everything. With print management software, access can be set by user or group, with an audit trail showing who did what and when. If a question ever comes up about a document, the record is there.
Device security
Our devices are certified in accordance with the Common Criteria / ISO 15408 EAL3 Standard. Scanned PDFs can be encrypted using 40-bit or 128-bit encryption, with user passwords up to 32 characters long. The HDD can also be encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), supporting a 128-bit key size. Once encrypted, HDD data cannot be read even if the HDD is removed from the MFD.
Managed on our own fleet
Because Lynbrook self-funds every device we manage. Devices are returned to us at the end of their life and the HDD is cleansed, rather than being disposed of by your team or a 3rd party, so a machine full of data is not a security risk.
Part of a bigger security picture
Print security sits alongside the rest of your defences. As an option, for network, endpoint and wider protection, our cyber security team can cover the ground beyond the printer.
